Technology Support Associate

As the Technology Support Associate, you will need to demonstrate a passion for helping our organization resolve technical challenges. Serving as a liaison between employee technology support, and organizational technology support. The Technology Support Associate will perform tasks, included, but not limited to; basic troubleshooting of software and hardware, help desk, setups and takedowns, training employees on software, hardware and network issues. This position will provide technological support to the organization, under the direction and coordination of the IT Director.
Essential Functions:
- Effectively apply knowledge and skills of technology to support IT projects, testing and solving a range of problems.
- Maintain and repair technological equipment (e.g. routers) or peripheral devices
- Basic Networking
- Working with external vendors
- Ensure accurate tracking of all hardware/software
- Facilitate technology support as needed for the employee and organization, meetings, workshops, or trainings and events.
- Facilitate training on Microsoft Office products, systems, and applications related to employee job responsibilities as needed.
- Ensure IT practices of confidentiality and security, following HIPAA regulations.
- Stay informed about current technologies.
- Other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.
Qualifications:
- AAS in Computer Services and Networking and/or related field, and/or 2 years experience using desktop/laptop computer software/hardware for Windows, Microsoft products and tools, HTML, or web-authorizing software and an ITIL certification.
- Current and valid driver’s license, proof of auto insurance and completion of motor vehicle report within company guidelines.
- Requires successful completion of criminal background, child abuse and neglect checks and pre-employment drug test to be eligible for employment.
