General Job Description:
The HR Assistant at Development Homes, Inc. (DHI) is responsible for providing essential administrative support to the HR Department. This role involves handling confidential information, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with various compliance-related tasks. The HR Assistant will work closely with the HR Manager, Recruiter, and other team members to ensure smooth operations and support the organization's mission.

General Job Duties:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
Conduct Job Analysis for multiple positions and use the findings to standardize job descriptions and evaluations.
Conduct Gaming Background Checks and annual MVR checks, ensuring compliance with relevant policies.
Complete employment verifications and conduct I9 audits to update necessary information.
Provide clerical and administrative support to the HR Department, including assisting with recruitment processes, benefit enrollment, and compliance-related filings.
Actively participate in the organization's Safety Committee and Recognition Committee.
Assist with planning and execution of special events such as benefit enrollment and employee recognition events.
Address inquiries from applicants and employees regarding policies, benefits, and hiring processes.

Minimum age of 18 years.
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Associate’s degree in an HR-related field from a two-year college or technical school, or equivalent experience and education.
Current and valid driver’s license, proof of auto insurance, and insurable driving record following company guidelines.
Successful completion of DHI Background Check in line with company and regulatory standards.

Compensation and Benefits:
Base Wage: $19.68/hr.
Cost of Living Differential: +$3/hr.
