Development Homes, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and ethical Licensed Baccalaureate Social Worker (LBSW) to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in achieving their personal goals. In this key role, the Social Worker provides high-quality, person-centered services that align with the mission and philosophy of DHI and the ethical standards of the Board of Social Work.

The LBSW coordinates and delivers essential social services that promote stability, inclusion, and overall well-being. This role serves as a liaison between individuals, families, guardians, and interdisciplinary team members, ensuring strong relationships and effective service planning. Additionally, the Social Worker supports Residential Managers in maintaining benefits and financial security for the people we serve.

 

Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate and support the attainment of Personal Outcomes for individuals through effective service coordination and advocacy.
Collaborate with Residential Managers to ensure individuals maintain eligibility and access to private, state, and federal benefit programs.
Serve as a liaison to families and guardians, supporting strong connections and clear communication.
Lead and facilitate Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) meetings to ensure person-centered service planning and goal achievement.
Uphold all DHI policies, procedures, and the Code of Ethics as outlined by the North Dakota Board of Social Work.
Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Promote continuity, security, and person-driven supports in all aspects of service delivery.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from an accredited college or university.
Active North Dakota Social Work license (LBSW) in good standing.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a human services-related field.
Valid driver’s license, proof of auto insurance, and an acceptable driving record.
Must successfully complete credit, criminal background, child abuse/neglect checks, and a pre-employment drug screening.

Compensation & Benefits:
Starting Base Wage: $25.68/hour

Schedule:
8:00 am through 5:00 pm Monday through Friday.
Must be flexible to work evening hours occasionally.
