Dr. Tricia Lee

Dr. Tricia Lee

Dr. Tricia Lee started her career with Development Homes Inc. in July of 2021 after serving on the Board of Directors for six years. Her background includes 26 years of experience in the field of special education where she held a variety of roles from that of a special education teacher of students with intellectual disabilities, autism, emotional disturbance and learning disabilities, to serving as an Assistant Professor and Clinical Supervisor in the Special Education Department at the University of North Dakota. Tricia most recently served as the Executive Director of Special Education for the Grand Forks Special Education Unit.
Dr. Lee is a graduate of the University of North Dakota, where she completed degrees in the field of elementary education, special education and teacher education.
Dr. Lee has filled leadership roles in several organizations, such as the North Dakota Study Council of Special Education administrators, where she served as president. In addition, she currently serves as the president of Hopeful Beginnings, LLC, and has been a past president of the Board of Directors of DHI. She has been nominated on multiple occasions as Special Education Director of Year while in her role of Special Education Director.
Dr. Lee has a passion for enhancing the lives of individuals with disabilities., and her life’s work is to foster the lives of individuals with disabilities to be as inclusive, fulfilling and successful as possible.
